Winter road trip Intro

I'm embarking on a road trip with two friends, which will take us from my home town of West Lafayette, Indiana, to Scottsdale Arizona.  We're driving my mom's car out to her house in Arizona for her, and decided to make a trip out of it.  I hope to have daily updates of stops, pictures, etc.

Initially, this trip was supposed to start off today (Wednesday 12/26), but due to a major storm moving through the southern US over the past few days (and Indiana today), we decided to delay leaving until  Thursday morning.

Currently, our planned stay-overs are in:

• Hot Springs, Arkansas, visiting the National Park on Friday
• Fort Worth, Texas, visiting Cooper's BBQ while we're there
• Hobbs, New Mexico, then heading to Carlsbad Caverns for the day
• Alamogordo, New Mexico, then heading to the White Sands Missile Range Museum
• Tucson, AZ, heading to the Pima Air Museum and Titan Missile Museum
• Scottsdale, AZ, where we will stay for the remainder of our vacation
